The days after loss can feel incredibly lonely. The questions, the grief, the waiting, and the unexpected emotions can be overwhelming.
After Everett was created to offer comfort and hope to women and families walking through miscarriage and loss — reminding them that their stories matter, their babies are remembered, and God is near in the midst of sorrow.
Inspired by Psalm 23, After Everett exists to create meaningful resources and tangible reminders of God's presence in the valley.

OUR MISSION
MEET MICHAELA
Hi, I'm Michaela.
I am a wife, mom, writer, and the founder of After Everett.
After losing Everett in December 2024, I found myself walking through a grief I never expected. While miscarriage is incredibly common, the silence surrounding it often leaves families feeling isolated.
Through my own journey of grief and healing, God placed a desire on my heart: to create something that would remind others they are seen, loved, and not walking through the valley alone.
After Everett is my offering of remembrance, encouragement, and hope for the days after loss.
WHY THE NAME "AFTER EVERETT"
Everett means "brave as a wild boar" / "strong" (depending on the meaning source you use), but to us, Everett represents a life that changed ours forever.
The word "after" represents the season that follows loss — the days, months, and years where grief and hope exist together.
